A long-time participant and friend of the International Summer Seminar of Bulgarian Language and Culture is launching a Bulgarian language course in Egypt. The news was shared on the Facebook page of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Cairo:
“We are pleased to share the news about the launch of the first Bulgarian language course for beginners in Egypt, led by Dr. Karim Abdelghani, a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities at Mansoura University. The course is being established on the initiative of Prof. Dr. Karim Naama, former head of the Department of Economic Theory and International Economic Relations at the Faculty of Economics, Veliko Tarnovo University 'St. Cyril and St. Methodius', who also provided the Bulgarian textbooks for beginners. The training is free and intended for students of Mansoura University. Dr. Abdelghani is a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities. He graduated in History from Mansoura University and specialized at Veliko Tarnovo University 'St. Cyril and St. Methodius'. Prof. Karim Naama Al and Dr. Karim Abdelghani are key drivers of the cooperation and academic exchange between the two universities. We wish success to this initiative, which will undoubtedly contribute to the promotion of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian language in Egypt and to strengthening the relations between the two countries in the fields of education and science.”
