Today the University of Veliko Tarnovo and the Bulgarian News Agency signed a cooperation agreement.
Rector prof. Dimitar Dimitrov, PhD and director general of BTA Kiril Valchev signed an agreement to enable students of the University to complete traineeship and practice programmes at the agency’s press clubs throughout the country. BTA will also publish news about significant events of the academic and scholarly life at St. Cyril and St. Methodius UVT.
“I am extremely grateful to BTA for allowing our students the opportunity to be part of a traineeship programme with a well-established media institution. Through
your agency, they will be able to dip in the spring of journalism and, later, when they graduate, why not become part of the great team of the Bulgarian News Agency,” the rector said at the signing of the agreement.
Assoc. prof. Anna Ivanova, PhD, vice-rector for International Relations, also attended the signing.
