Public lecture of Her Excellency, Tekla Harangozo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary

 
 

Her Excellency, Tekla Harangozo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary in Sofia, delivered a lecture to students and lecturers of the “St. Cyril and St. Methodius” University of Veliko Tarnovo in “Europe” hall.

Her Excellency, Tekla Haranggozo, visited at the invitation of the students of the “Imhotep” Diplomacy Club and the topic of the lecture was “Cooperation in the Visegrad Group, Hungary's Good Practices in the Field of Diplomacy and Trade, Hungarian-Bulgarian Trade Relations”.

Prof. Hristo Bondzholov, Rector of the University of Veliko Tarnovo, welcomed everyone to the lecture.

After Her Excellency’s lecture, Mrs Gyorgyi Dimitrov, Director of the Hungarian Cultural Institute and Counselor for Cultural Affairs at the Embassy of Hungary in Sofia, as well as Mrs. Sharolta Hapai Madarine, guest lecturer teaching Hungarian language at Shumen University, took part of the discussion. Mrs Gyorgyi Dimitrov talked about the issues arising in cultural diplomacy and the work of the Hungarian Cultural Institute, the Visegrad group cultural cooperation with Bulgaria in particular. Mrs. Sharolta Hapai Madarine talked about ways to get an education in Hungary and the opportunities a Hungarian-speaker has on the Bulgarian labour market.

Her Excellency, Tekla Harangozo, was awarded the title “Honorary Member” of the “Imhotep” Diplomacy Club.
