Participation in International Organisations

The University of Veliko Tarnovo is a member in the following international university associations:

1. European University Association (EUA)
2. Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN)
3. Francophone University Association (Agence universitaire de la Francophonie – AUF)
4. The Club of the Rectors of Europe (CRE)
5. Balkan Universities Association (BUA)
6. INSPIRE Consortium.

The main purpose of these university associations is to support and encourage scientific, cultural and educational cooperation and exchange between universities. They also facilitate the improvement of higher education and the increase of research quality through joint projects, conferences and seminars concerning education, consequently publishing the reports in scientific periodicals.
