There will be a round-table discussion on the topic “Global challenges for Europe and the world” on 13 December 2017 at 14:00 at “Europa” hall of the “St. Cyril and St. Methodius” University of Veliko Tarnovo main building. The meeting will be attended by Ambassadors Assoc. Prof. Dr Zdravko Popov and Lyubomir Todorov, PhD.
Assoc. Prof Dr Zdravko Popov has held many high posts among which council of foreign policy to President Zhelyu Zhelev (1990-1992), President of UNICEF-Bulgaria (1996-2002), founder and director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2003-2006), Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Czech Republic (2006-2010) and editor in chief of Diplomacy journal. We will talk with him about Europe’s future and the challenges it faces.
Ambassador Lyubomir Todorov, PhD has also held many high posts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has been an Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Australia, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Japan, director of the America Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He will talk about the attitude of Japan and Australia toward global challenges.
