St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo students have six weeks remaining to enrol in the 2018 Global Enterprise Experience. This contest, with participants from 113 countries, develops student skills in global leadership, cross cultural management, creative problem solving, virtual project team management, and using business to create a better world. Entry is free for the contest that runs for three weeks from May 2–May 23. Students just need access to the internet.
As always, the teams of eight people will be very diverse coming from differing time zones, levels of wealth, world views and cultures.
Teams communicate via the web to develop a “six-page business concept proposal for a profitable product or service that fosters decent work and sustainable economic growth as per the eighth United Nations Sustainable Development Goal.” Details of the contest and examples of team reports from previous years can be seen on the website www.geebiz.org.
Members of the champion team as well as the champion peer leader will each win NZ$1000 (about US$700). Participants who complete all requirements receive a certificate and letter of commendation.
To enrol, participants go to www.geebiz.org by April 18.
