ФИЛОЛОГИЯ

1. Описание на изпита

Държавният изпит е писмен и включва следните компоненти:

1. Проверка на практически английски език
2. Въпрос по съвременен английски език /морфология, лексикология, синтаксис и лингвистика на текста/ или история на английската и американската литература

Писмената проверка по практически английски език включва:

• диктовка на оригинален текст от съвременен англоезичен автор / 20 – 25 реда/;
• превод от английски на български език на художествен текст от съвременен англоезичен автор /20 – 25 реда/;
• превод от български на английски език на обществено-политически текст с актуална тематика /20 – 25 реда/.

Теоретичен въпрос. Задават се две теми – една литературна и една езиковедска. Студентът разработва по избор една от темите.

? Темите по литература са върху ключови автори и произведения на британската и американската литература. При автори, чието цялостно творчество е включено в конспекта (напр. У. Шекспир и  Джейн Остин), в темата се посочва,че от студентите се очаква да базират аргументите си върху един или повече текстове по техен собствен избор.

? Зададените теми по лингвистика са сходни, но не идентични с набелязаните в конспекта за държавен изпит въпроси. При формулировката на тези теми акцентът пада върху възлови лингвистични проблеми.
