The journal “Pedagogical almanac” is an edition of the Pedagogical faculty to the “St.st. Cyril and Methodius” University in Veliko Tarnovo.

It was founded in 1993 and two editions are published a year.

Scientific research works, methodological studies and good practices in the field of the educational theory and methodology are published in the journal.

Studies and papers by lecturers at the Pedagogical faculty and from other faculties of the University, preparing future teachers, are also included in the journal.

The basic fields of research are related to current and significant problems of pre-school and school education, the social pedagogy, informational technologies in teaching, the early foreign language teaching, European and world tendencies in education.

The journal “Pedagogical almanac” ispublished in Bulgarian, since it is addressed mainly to university lecturers and school teachers working in the Bulgarian educational system and it reflects the specific character of the education in the Republic of Bulgaria.
